Fun Summer Paper Sunglasses Crafts for Kids

We are going to do another fun summer craft. So, with this activity, kids can learn about shapes during the summer season. Also, they can develop fine motor skills like cutting, gluing, and coloring. This awesome craft is with sunglasses. So, teach your kids why they should wear sunglasses in the summer. So, let's see how to make this fun sunglasses craft.

✂️ What You Need

  • Printed sunglasses templates
  • Craft board (for strength)
  • Small squares of colored paper or tissue paper
  • Glitter sheets
  • Elastic bands (sewing type)
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick

🌟 How to Make

  1. Print and Color
    • Print the sunglasses template on white or colored sheets.
    • If printed on white, color the frame with crayons or markers.
  2. Cut and Strengthen
    • Cut along the outline to separate the sunglasses from the sheet.
    • Paste the frame onto the craft board for extra strength.
    • Cut out the glass area of the sunglasses.
  3. Decorate the Glass
    • Paste tissue paper or colored paper squares on the backside of the glass area to cover it.
    • Cut shapes from glitter sheets and paste them in the middle of the glass for decoration.
    • This is a fun chance to teach kids about different shapes!
  4. Add Elastic Bands
    • Make small holes on both ends of the sunglasses.
    • Tie elastic bands to each side so kids can wear them.
  5. Optional Play Version
    • If kids want to wear the sunglasses for play, cover the glass area with a transparent sheet instead of tissue paper.
