Easy Summer Paper Window Craft Idea for Kids

How to Make

Step 1: Print and Cut the Window Frame

• Print the window part on a colored sheet.
• Carefully cut along the outside line to separate it from the sheet.
• Using this template, cut out the window shape from the colored board. Then draw all details of the window template on the board.
• Inside the template, cut only along the dashed lines using a paper cutter (do not cut out the whole template).
• Fold the two cut parts outward along the join line to make window flaps.

Step 2: Add Window Details

• Use a marker to draw straight lines inside the folded flaps to look like window panes.

Step 3: Prepare the Scene

• Print coloring pages on white sheets.
• Color them using crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
• Cut along the outline of the colored picture.

Step 4: Assemble the Craft

• Paste the colored picture on the back side of the window frame.
• Now it looks like a scene showing through the window!

Step 5: Display

• Attach a loop of ribbon or string at the top.
• Hang the finished craft on the classroom wall for a cheerful summer display.
