What You Need
- White sheets or light paper
- Sun, Moon, and planet templates
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
- Scissors
- Glue
- Popsicle sticks
How to Make
- Print the Sun, Moon, and planet templates on white sheets.
- You can also print on colored sheets if you prefer.
- Color each template using crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
- Match the colors to real planets (blue and green for Earth, red for Mars, Blue for Neptune, etc.).
- You can look at an example image for ideas.
- Cut out each planet, the Sun, and the Moon separately.
- Take popsicle sticks and write the names on them: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.
- Glue each cut‑out to its matching stick.
- Or, if you prefer, print stick shapes and paste them onto a board for extra strength. Write the names there and paste the planets on them.
- Let everything dry.
- Now you have your own colorful solar system craft, ready to play, learn, or display!
