Easy Ocean Animal Crafts for Kids
Let’s dive under the sea and make colorful crafts with fish, turtles, starfish, and octopuses. Using paper, crayons, sand, and glue, you can create your own underwater world. These crafts are simple, fun, and perfect for kids at home or in the classroom.
What You Need
- Blue sheets of paper (for circles)
- Craft board
- Green paper (for sea plants)
- Brown paper (for stones)
- Crayons or markers
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Clean, dry sand
- Printed sea creature templates (fish, starfish, turtle, octopus)
How to Make
- Make the Ocean Circle
- Print a circle shape on blue paper.
- Cut it out and paste it onto the craft board.
- Trim neatly along the outline.
- Add Plants and Stones
- Print sea plants on green paper and stones on brown paper.
- Cut them out neatly.
- Paste the plants and stones neatly on top and both sides of the dashed line inside the circle.
- Add Sand
- Collect a small amount of sand. Make sure it is clean and dry before use
- Put glue inside the circle along the bottom edge and Spread the glue evenly across the dashed line area
- Gently sprinkle sand over the glued area. Cover all the glue spots with sand.
- Shake off extra sand after it sticks.
- Leave the craft flat until the glue dries. Do not touch the sand until it is set.
- Add Sea Creatures
- Print your favorite sea creature template.
- Color it with crayons or markers.
- Cut it out and paste it inside the blue area of the circle.
- Finish and Hang
- Punch a hole at the top of the circle.
- Attach a loop of yarn or string.
- Hang your ocean animal craft on the wall! 🌟
