Easy Fall Tissue Paper Crafts for Kids

Fall brings bright colors, crunchy leaves, and fun craft time! Tissue paper crafts are a perfect way for kids to enjoy the season. They can tear, cut, and paste colorful tissue pieces to make apples, pumpkins, mushrooms, and even cute animals. This simple, playful activity helps children create beautiful autumn decorations.

What You Need

• Printable templates (apple, umbrella, leaf, boots, acorn, mushroom, hedgehog, pumpkin)
• Colored sheets
• Tissue or oil paper (cut into squares)
• Crayons, pastels, markers, or colored pencils
• Scissors
• Glue
• Sticky paper or laminating sheets (optional for sealing)

✂️ How to Make

Method 1 – Tissue Squares on Template

1. Print your chosen fall craft template on colored sheet.
2. Cut the outline and remove the inside, keeping only the outline.
3. Cut tissue or oil paper into squares.
4. Paste the squares inside the cutout space, overlapping to fill it.
5. Trim extra pieces to neaten the shape.
6. Glue the back side to another outline cutout for strength.
7. Print extra parts (like stems, caps, leaves) on colored sheets, cut, and paste to finish.
8. Let dry well.

Method 2 – Sticky Paper Method

1. Print your template on a colored sheet and cut along the outline, then cut out the center, keeping the outline.
2. Paste the outline onto transparent sticky paper.
3. Add tissue squares inside the space.
4. Seal with another sticky paper sheet.
5. Trim extra parts neatly.
6. Print and attach extra pieces (stems, caps, leaves) for finishing.
