Easy Fall Paper Window Craft for Kids

Fall is the season of colorful leaves, pumpkins, and cozy classroom fun! This paper window craft lets kids make their own “window view” filled with autumn scenes. What You Need

• Printable window templates
• Colored sheets (for the window frame)
• White sheets (for coloring pages)
• Crayons, colored pencils, or markers
• Scissors
• Paper cutter (for dashed lines)
• Glue stick or liquid glue
• Ribbon or string for hanging

How to Make

Step 1: Print and Cut the Window Frame

• Print the window part on a sheet.
• Carefully cut along the outside line to separate it from the sheet.
• Using this template, cut out the window shape from the colored board. Then draw all details of the window template on the board.
• Inside the template, cut only along the dashed lines using a paper cutter (do not cut out the whole template).
• Fold the two cut parts outward along the join line to make window flaps.

• Use a marker to draw straight lines inside the folded flaps to look like window panes.

Step 3: Prepare the Scene

• Print Autumn coloring pages on white sheets.
• Color them using crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
• Cut along the outline of the colored picture.

Step 4: Assemble the Craft

• Paste the colored picture on the back side of the window frame.
