Earth Day is a special time to show love for our planet. Kids can make colorful greeting cards to share messages of care, joy, and protection for the Earth. These crafts are simple, fun, and perfect for classrooms or home activities.

What You Need

  • A4 craft board or colored sheets
  • Blue and green papers (for torn pieces)
  • Heart, flower, hand, circle, and kids’ head templates
  • Crayons, markers, or paints
  • Scissors
  • Glue

🌱 How to Make

Card Base

  • Take an A4 craft board and fold it in half to make a greeting card.
  • This will be the base for your designs.

1. Hug the Earth Card

  1. Take a craft board, fold it in half to make a card.
  2. Draw a dashed outline on the front.
  3. Print Earth, hands, and a kid’s head on a white sheet and color them.
  4. Paste them on the front side so it looks like a kid hugging the Earth.
  5. Draw some hearts and write an Earth Day wish.

2. Earth with Heart Card

  1. Print two circles on colored sheets.
  2. Color one circle as Earth using crayons, markers, or paints.
  3. Paste it on cardboard and cut out a heart shape in the middle.
  4. Paste the second circle on the cardboard and cut neatly along the circle.
  5. Use small cardboard rectangle pieces to join the two circles together like a card.
  6. Write an Earth Day wish inside the heart cutout, such as “Earth Loves You”.
  7. Decorate the inside with drawings or stickers.

3. Earth Torn Paper Card

  1. Cut a circle (Earth shape) on the front side of the folded card.
  2. Tear small pieces of blue and green paper.
  3. Paste the torn pieces inside the circle to look like oceans and land.
  4. Cover the back with a green sheet to make it neat.
  5. Print flower templates on colored sheets, cut them out, and paste them at the top of the Earth.
  6. Write a message inside, like “Happy Earth Day!”

4. Hand Shape Earth Day Card

  1. Print a heart shape and use it to cut out a hand shape from the card.
  2. Print the Earth and flower templates on a white sheet and color them.
  3. Paste the Earth inside the hand‑shaped card.
  4. Paste flowers around it to decorate.
