DIY Halloween Garland: Fun Paper Craft for Kids

Today we are going to make a Halloween paper garland. This is a cute paper Halloween craft idea that is very easy to make. This craft also helps children learn the concept of seasonal events and mathematical symmetry. Not only that, it is also a great opportunity to develop various skills in children.

Materials Needed:

  • Colored paper (orange, black, white, green)
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • tape
  • String or ribbon (optional for hanging)

How to make the Halloween paper Garland:

  1. Print the Templates Print the given templates on white sheets.
  2. Fold the Paper Accordion-Style Take half a sheet of colored paper and fold it back and forth like an accordion.
  3. Draw Halloween Shapes Use the templates to draw Halloween shape halves on the top layer. Make sure the edges of the shapes touch the folded sides so the chain stays connected.
  4. Cut Along the Outline Carefully cut out the shapes through all the folded layers. Be sure not to cut the connecting edges completely—this keeps the shapes linked together.
  5. Unfold the Garland Gently open the folded paper to reveal a chain of Halloween characters.
  6. Hang Your Garland Tape or glue the end
