Creative Fall Scene Crafts for Kids

Fall is full of colorful leaves, cozy vibes, and playful scenes. This craft lets kids build their own autumn world with trees, umbrellas, and characters. By combining cutouts, coloring, and lots of leaf shapes, children create a lively fall scene that looks magical on classroom walls or at home.

• Printable templates (tree, umbrella, leaves, characters)
• White or colored sheets
• Crayons, markers, or chalk
• Colored paper or leaf cutter
• Scissors
• Glue
• Large black sheet (for background)

How to Make

1. Print and color templates:
   • Print the tree, umbrella, leaves, and characters on white sheets.
   • Color them with crayons or markers.
   • Cut them out neatly along the outlines.
2. Prepare leaves:
   • Print leaves on colored sheets, use a leaf cutter, or cut directly from colored paper.
   • Use the easiest way and prepare lots of leaf shapes for your autumn craft.
3. Arrange background:
   • Take a big black sheet and cut it into a square (12" × 12") (adjust size if needed).
   • Paste the tree cutout on the left side.
4. Add leaves:
   • Paste leaves on the tree branches and scatter some on the ground.
5. Place characters:
   • Paste your chosen character on the pile of leaves.
   • Add the umbrella above as shelter.
   • If you select a kid character, paste the umbrella in their hand. For this, draw hands and legs with white crayons or chalk.
6. Final touches:
   • Paste extra leaves onto the umbrella and around the scene.
   • Let everything dry well.
7. Display:
   • Hang your finished fall scene craft on the wall for a colorful autumn decoration!

📌 Special Note

For small kids, cutting tiny pieces can be difficult. Prepare the cutouts in advance and give them ready pieces to arrange and paste. This way, they can still easily make their own art, just like in the example image, while focusing on creativity and fun.
