Today, we are going to make another fun and easy window craft. We are creating this window craft to fit the winter theme. It is also an eco-friendly and creative craft. Kids can easily create this craft using readily available materials and following a few simple steps. Let’s see how to create this fun window craft with a winter theme.
What You Need (Materials):
- Popsicle sticks (minimum 6)
- Printed templates
- Color markers
- Colored papers
- Glue
- Scissors
- Stickers (optional)
How to Make:
- Step 01: Color the Popsicle Sticks
Take six or more Popsicle sticks, depending on the size you want. Color them with dark blue paint or markers. You can also use other winter theme colors if you prefer. Let them dry well.
- Step 02: Arrange the Popsicle Sticks
Take your colored popsicle sticks and glue them together to make a window shape. Use 6 sticks for a small window or 12 sticks for a bigger one.
- Step 03: Cut Out the Colored Paper Pieces
Choose any colored paper and cut it into pieces that match the size of your popsicle stick window.
- Step 04: Print, Color, and Cut Out the Templates
Print the window scene images provided. You can color them yourself or print them on colored paper. Then, cut out each image separately.
- Step 05: Make the Window Scene
Take your cut colored paper pieces and the printed images. Paste the images onto the colored paper to create a Halloween scene. Let kids choose and arrange the images however they like. Then, glue the decorated paper behind the popsicle stick window and let it dry.
- Step 06: Attach the Yarn for Hanging.
Finally, attach yarn, ribbon, or string to hang your craft on the wall. You can also add stickers or other decorations to make it extra fun!
