- Then, print the templates. You can use colored or white paper when printing. But if you print these templates on colored paper, there is no need to color them. Or if you print these templates on white pages, you can let the children color them as well. Decide on your preference.
- Also, if you want extra strength and durability, print only the Monster Outlines images on a board. Otherwise, glue the printed pages to the board.

Give your child the monster body page and the face parts page.
- Now distribute the templates you printed among the children.
- However, here you will get 5 different monster images. But the children only need one monster image. So, let the children choose one of the monster images they like.
- Also, let them choose the pages they want from the facial feature images provided.
- Then, provide them with the templates they want according to their preferences.
Let them choose eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and horns from the parts page.
- First, give the children the opportunity to imagine a monster.
- Then, the children will imagine images of monsters they have seen in movies, cartoons, and stories.
- Then, instruct them to choose the facial features they want to create their imaginary monster from the templates they have.
Help them cut out the parts neatly using scissors.
- Then, the children should cut neatly around the facial features they have chosen.
- For children who are practicing cutting, cutting these small shapes will be a bit difficult. So give them your help.
Ask them to paste the parts on the monster body to make their own monster face.
- Next, we will glue the cut-out facial features onto the monster’s body.
- Give the children complete freedom to create their imaginary monster.
- Then let it dry thoroughly.
If they want, they can color and decorate the monster to make it more special.
- Now you can color your monster. If you printed these monster templates on colored paper, skip this step.
- Otherwise, use pencils, markers, or colored pencils to color your monster images beautifully.
- You can make this monster image even more beautiful by adding stickers or drawing other images.
Activity Sheets for Kids: Tips for teachers and parents:
Create a reusable monster activity:
- To do this, first cut out the monster outline images, then cut out the facial features. In this way, cut out the individual image parts.
- Now laminate all of these cut-outs separately.
- Then stick a piece of double-sided tape to the bottom of the facial features.
- Next, children can create a new activity that they can enjoy using the features they like.
Encourage kids to talk about their monsters.
- Ask questions like:
What is your monster’s name?
Is it a happy or scary monster?
What does your monster like to eat?
- You can let them tell the class about their monster.
- Also, hold a picture of the monster in front of them and let the children talk like a monster.
- Otherwise, you can create a simple dialogue with two monster characters and two children each.
Create a great game with this “Monster Activity Sheets for Kids” activity.
- You can do it individually or as a group activity.
- That is, first prepare a monster image as you like and place it in a place where the children can clearly see it.
- Next, give the children monster pictures and cut-out facial features.
- Then let the children create the monster by finding the facial features they need to create the monster picture they see. The first child or team to create the monster wins.
