Fun and Easy Fall Leaf Crafts for Kids

1. Print and Color the Animal Templates

  • Initially, print the templates. Make sure to print them on white A4 sheets.
  • Then ask kids to choose one from the printables and color it.
  • Encourage them to match colors; meanwhile, ask them why they chose this image. This helps to develop creativity, imagination, and fine motor skills.
  • Since they have to color inside the image, they will learn how to control their hands. Let them explore their own creativity!!

2. Collect Fall Leaves

  • This is the most fun part of the craft!!! Go outside with kids to collect fall leaves. Let them explore nature, but don’t forget to make sure to keep a safe area around them.
  • Ask them to collect fall leaves, let them feel the texture, surface colors of the leaves, and the shape of the leaves.

3. Create the Background

  • Take a sheet of white A4 paper and glue the autumn leaves to the bottom of the sheet.

  • Gently rub on the leaves to make sure they are pasted well. Let them dry.

4. Cut and Paste the Animals
