Cutting activities are a great way for children to build fine motor skills while having fun. These worksheets let kids practice using scissors safely, follow dotted lines, and create playful shapes. Simple designs and cheerful characters make the activity enjoyable at home or in the classroom.
How to Use Cutting Practice Worksheets:
Method 1: Using dashed lines without images
- Print the dashedline template on A4 paper. You can use colorful sheets or draw dashed lines directly on colored paper.

- Give the sheets to kids and let them carefully cut along the lines. Separate the strips from the sheet.
- Print the image templates you need (examples: sun face, kids’ face, jellyfish head, cloud). These can be printed on colored paper or printed on white paper and then colored.

- Paste the cut‑out strips onto the images:
- As rays of the sun
- As hair for the kids’ heads
- As tentacles for the jellyfish
- As raindrops under the cloud
Method 2: Using images with dashed lines
- Print the given image templates with dashed lines directly on colored paper.
- Let kids cut along the dashed lines carefully.
