Today we are going to decorate a big Christmas tree. This will be a very fun experience for the children. So you can direct the children to do this activity individually or as a group activity. So come on, let’s try this fun Christmas tree craft experience.

What You Need:

  1. Printed templates
  2. Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
  3. Scissors
  4. Glue or double-sided tape
  5. Ribbon, yarn, or string

How to Make:

Step 01: Choose a large surface like a wall, door, or window to place your big Christmas tree.

Step 02: If you’re making a big tree, take large colored paper and cut out a Christmas tree shape with a canopy and trunk. Hang it using ribbon or yarn.

Step 03: Print the templates from the PDF. These include large-sized ornament images.

Step 04: Color the printed images, then cut them out separately.

Step 05: Let kids paste their cut-out ornaments onto the tree. Use glue or double-sided tape. Before adding ornaments, don’t forget to paste the big star at the top of the tree!

Activity Ideas:

This large tree is perfect for group activities or classroom leisure time. Kids will love decorating together!

 Small Tree Option:

We’ve also included an A3-sized Christmas tree template with ornaments. This smaller version is great for individual activities.

Tips for Teachers:

  • Choose a tree size that’s easy for kids to handle.
  • Use cardboard for a sturdy tree cutout.
  • Cover the tree with clear tape to give it a shiny look and make it more durable.
  • Add double-sided tape to the back of each ornament so kids can reuse and reposition them.

Now your tree can last longer and offer more learning fun for kids!
