Step 2: Color the Pieces
Give the children a fishbowl and a sea creature template from the printed templates. Then let them color them using the colors of their choice. You can use pencils, colored pencils, or markers as a coloring medium.

Step 3: Glue the colored fish bowl onto the cardstock
Next, take the fish bowl template that you finished coloring. Then glue it onto a piece of cardstock and let it dry. If you printed these fish bowl templates directly onto cardstock, skip this step.
Step 3: Cut Everything Out
Now let’s cut out the shapes from these templates one by one. Be very careful not to damage the shapes around the outlines. You will then have a fish bowl, 4 fish, a seashell, and two sea plants.
For young children who have difficulty cutting, offer your help.

Step 4: Design the Aquarium
This is the final step. Here, you need to glue the sea creatures inside your fish bowl. So let the children decide where to glue these sea creatures. Also, teach them to determine the space by placing the sea creatures in the middle of the bowl before gluing them. Then, instruct them to stick the pictures one by one in that location using glue. Now you can see your handmade aquarium.

Step 5: Add Final Touches
Add googly eyes, stickers, or glitter if you like. Kids can even draw more sea life, like starfish or jellyfish. Now you have a beautiful paper aquarium to display on the wall, fridge, or classroom!
