It’s simple enough for little hands, yet bright and joyful enough to make a sweet keepsake for family and friends.

What You Need

Basic Supplies:

  • Printed card template (with character and heart)
  • White or colored paper
  • Crayons, markers, or color pencils
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Optional Extras for Decoration:

  • Stickers
  • Glitter
  • Paints
  • Fingerprints (using safe, washable paint)

How to Make a Cute Valentine Heart Card

Step 01: Print the template: Choose one card template and print it on white or colored paper.

Step 02: Color the design:

  • If you print on white paper, color the character and the left side of the heart.
  • Leave the right side of the heart plain (without color).

Step 03: Cut the card: Cut along the outline to separate the card from the sheet.

Step 04: Write your message: On the right side of the heart, write a sweet message such as:

  • I love you
  • Love you
  • Happy Valentine’s Day
  • Love you Mom
  • Love you Dad
  • You’re my best friend
  • Best teacher ever

Step 05: Decorate: Add stickers, drawings, or even fingerprints to make it special.

Step 06: Fold the card: Let the decorations dry. Then fold the card along the dashed line in the middle of the heart to create your cute Valentine heart card.
