This craft is a sweet way to say “I love you, Mommy!” Kids can make a colorful card featuring a vase of flowers, using simple paper cutouts and sponges to give the bouquet a 3D look. It’s fun, easy, and makes a perfect gift for Mother’s Day.
What You Need
- Colored sheets of paper
- Printed templates (vase, flowers, stems, leaves)
- Crayons or markers (if printing on white paper)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Small sponge or foam pieces
How to Make:
- Take a colored sheet for your card base.
- Paste small sponge or foam pieces on the sheet where the vase and flowers will go.
- Print the vase, flowers, stems, and leaves.
- You can print them on colored paper, or print on white paper and color them yourself.
- Cut out all the parts separately.
- Make your flowers: attach each flower to a stick and add leaves.
- Paste the flowers on the sheet, placing them on top of the sponge pieces in the top area.
- Paste the stems together at the bottom sponge area.
- Paste the vase over the bottom sponge so it looks like the flowers are inside.
- Let it dry, then proudly display your beautiful Mother’s Day card!
