Easter garlands are a joyful way for kids to decorate the classroom or home! With bunnies, chicks, eggs, and baskets, children can make colorful strings of Easter fun. This craft is easy, playful, and helps kids practice coloring, cutting, and gluing while creating something festive to hang on walls or windows.

What You Need

  • Easter image templates (bunnies, chicks, eggs, baskets, flowers)
  • White or colored sheets
  • Crayons or markers
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Yarn or ribbon for stringing

How to Make

  1. Print the templates – Print your chosen Easter images on white or colored sheets.
    • If you print on white sheets, color the images with crayons or markers.
  2. Cut out the shapes – Carefully cut along the outlines and separate each image.
  3. Complete the images – Some cutouts may need extra details:
    • Paste parts together to make a full image.
    • Draw eyes, beaks, legs, tails, or whiskers with markers.
  4. Prepare the string – Take a piece of yarn or ribbon.
  5. Attach the images – Paste or tape your cutouts along the string, leaving space between each one.
  6. Hang and display – Hang your Easter garland on a window, wall, or across the classroom for everyone to enjoy!
