Easter ornament crafts are a bright and cheerful way for kids to celebrate the season! With colorful eggs, chicks, flowers, and rainbow tissue borders, children can make their own hanging decorations to display at home or in the classroom. Each ornament is unique, helping kids practice coloring, cutting, and gluing while having fun.

What You Need

  • Ornament templates (egg, chick, flower, etc.)
  • White or colored sheets
  • Crayons or markers
  • Colorful tissue paper (rainbow colors work best)
  • Cardboard sheet (optional for sturdiness)
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Hole punch
  • Yarn or ribbon for hanging

How to Make

  1. Print the templates – Print the given ornament designs on white sheets.
  2. Color the images – Use crayons or markers to color the inside picture only.
  3. Cut out the ornaments – Carefully cut along the outline of each ornament.
  4. Decorate the border – Tear or crumple colorful tissue paper into small pieces. Paste them around the outside line of the ornament to make a bright border.
  5. Punch a hole – Use a hole punch to make a small hole at the top of the ornament.
  6. Attach yarn or ribbon – Tie a piece of yarn or ribbon through the hole so the ornament can hang.
  7. Display your craft – Your Easter ornament is now ready to hang and enjoy!
