Spring is full of bright colors, and this craft brings them to life! Kids will love making their own colorful paper ball decorations with a spring design inside. It’s simple, fun, and perfect for hanging in the classroom or at home.
What You Need
- Printed circle template (white sheet)
- Craft board or cardboard (for strength)
- Colorful papers (to make paper balls)
- Crayons or markers
- Scissors
- Glue
- Spring image template (flower, butterfly, bee, etc.)
- Yarn, string, or ribbon (for hanging)
- Hole punch
How to Make
01. Print and prepare base: Print the circle template on white paper, paste it onto craft board, and cut along the outline to make a sturdy base.
02. Make colorful paper balls: Crumple small pieces of colored paper into balls and paste them around the circle outline where space is marked.
03. Add spring image: Print a spring-themed image, color it, cut along the outline, and paste it inside the circle base.
04. Punch and attach loop: Punch a hole at the top of the circle, attach yarn, string, or ribbon, and add a bow if you like.
05. Display your craft: Hang your colorful paper ball decoration in the classroom or at home and let it brighten the space.
Extra Tips
- You can use pom‑pom balls instead of paper balls for a fluffy look.
- Instead of printing a spring template, kids can draw their own spring picture inside the circle base.
