Easter is the perfect time for bright colors, fun crafts, and playful bunny ears! This easy DIY headband lets kids turn a simple paper accordion into a cheerful Easter egg with bunny ears. It’s quick to make, full of color, and perfect for wearing at school, parties, or just for fun at home.

What You Need

  • Colored A4 paper (for the accordion)
  • White paper (for templates)
  • Crayons or markers
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Ribbon or yarn

How to Make Paper Accordion Easter Decorations

  1. Make the accordion base
    • Take a colored A4 sheet.
    • Fold it back and forth like a fan (accordion style).
    • Depending on the craft, shape it into a triangle or a half‑circle.
  2. Print and color the templates
    • Print the bunny, chick, egg, or flower templates you need.
    • Use crayons or markers to color them, or print directly on colored paper.
    • Cut around the outlines to separate each piece.
  3. Build your decoration
    • Look at the example craft idea.
    • Paste your cut‑out parts onto the accordion base to create your bunny, chick, egg, or flower design.
  4. Finish and display
    • Attach ribbon or yarn to the top.
    • Hang your craft as a wall decoration or string several together to make a garland.
