What You Need

  • White A4 paper (for jar background)
  • Printable jar template
  • Colored sheets (pink, purple, orange, yellow, green, blue)
  • Butterfly templates (or flowers/hearts)
  • Crayons or markers
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Stickers (dots or hearts, optional)

How to Make

  1. Prepare the jar:
    • Print the jar template on white A4 paper.
    • Color the jar lid and mouth with crayons.
    • You can also color inside the jar if you like.
  2. Make butterflies (or flowers/hearts):
    • Print butterflies on colored sheets.
    • Cut them out neatly.
    • You can also print flowers or hearts instead of butterflies.
  3. Paste butterflies:
    • Paste colorful butterflies inside the jar.
    • Add more butterflies at the jar mouth, spreading above as if they are flying out.
  4. Add flight paths and décor:
    • Use a black marker to draw wavy dashed lines from the jar to the butterflies.
    • Use colored markers to add dots and hearts around the butterflies.
    • You can also use dot or heart stickers instead of drawing.
  5. Finish and display:
    • Let the craft dry.
    • Display your butterfly jar proudly in the classroom or at home.
