What you need for this activity:
01. Patterned square or non-patterned square templates

How to Create “Pattern People Craft”:
Step 1: Print the templates
- First, print the templates provided to you. Here you can choose to print the squares with or without patterns.
- Also, if you want to color them, print on white printer paper. Otherwise, you can print these templates on colored paper. Use different colored papers for that.

Step 2: Draw the pattern on the empty squares
- If you printed the patterned squares, skip this step.
- Draw the pattern on the empty squares you printed. Here, draw one type of pattern on each square.
- To do this, give children the freedom to draw a pattern of their choice.

Step 3: Color the pattern squares
- Follow these steps if you did not print on colored paper. If you have already printed the templates on colored paper, you do not need to color them.
- Printed pattern squares or drawn pattern squares need to be colored. To do this, use different colors to color each square.
- Also, use a coloring medium suitable for the youngest children, for example, pencils, markers or colored pencils.
Step 4: Cut out the Square pieces
- Next, you need to cut out the colored or printed squares separately.
- To do this, use scissors and carefully cut along the outline of the square.
- Provide adult assistance for children who need help cutting.

Step 5: Cut out the face, arms, and legs from colored paper:
- Choose a colored paper that matches the human skin tone. White, light orange, brown, or pink would work well for this.
