How to Make the Easy Heart Balloon Craft:
Follow the steps below in order. Then you will be able to achieve a successful craft. So now let’s start the Mother’s Day kid crafts activity.
Step 1: Print the Template
Firstly, you need to print the templates. Use plain or light-colored printer paper to print these templates. If you want the craft to be stronger, print it on cardboard.
Also, print out the templates provided separately for girls and boys, depending on the number of children in the class. Then, print out enough heart-shaped templates for all your students.
When printing heart shapes, if you plan to color them, print them on colorless printer paper. Otherwise, print the heart shape templates on colored paper in multiple colors. This will give you colorful heart shapes. You can also cut them out separately and give each child a heart shape in different colors.

Step 2: Color the Drawing
Next, distribute the templates with the images of boys and girls from the templates you printed among the children. Then, allow them to color them using pencils, markers, or colored pencils. Also, give the children the freedom to color them using the colors they like.

Step 3: Cut Out the Hearts
Now, take the heart templates that you have printed on different colored paper. Then cut out the heart shapes separately. Now you will have a lot of heart shapes in several colors. So give each child 10 or 15 hearts in several colors. You can give as many hearts as you like. So, depending on the age of the children, they can decide the number that is comfortable for them.
Step 4: Fold the Hearts (Optional)
Teach the children to take the heart shapes given to them one by one and fold them as shown in the image below. That is, fold the heart shape in half. Then fold it and unfold it again. We only need to make a folded edge in the middle of the heart shape.

Step 5: Glue the Hearts Above the Character
Next, take the paper with the image of the girl or boy that the children have colored. We will glue those hearts on top of the character. When gluing the hearts, apply glue only along the folded edges of the hearts. Then glue only that edge to the paper. Now you will have a cute heart with wings.

Step 6: Add the Strings
Okay, now let’s attach each of these hearts to the arms of the girl or boy figure below. To do that, take a black marker or pencil. Then, draw a single line from the tip of each heart to the arms in the figure below. Now, that’s the string of the balloon bunch we finished drawing.

Step 7: Personalize It
Kids can write “Happy Mother’s Day!” or “I Love You Mom!” anywhere on the page. You can even sign your name or add stickers.
