Earth Day is all about showing love to our planet. This craft helps kids learn why trees are important while making a fun Earth and tree decoration. With coloring, cutting, and pasting, children can create a smiling Earth with a growing tree on top. It’s a playful way to teach how trees help keep our Earth healthy and happy.
What You Need:
- Earth template (with or without face features)
- Eyes and mouth template (optional)
- Tree trunk template (brown sheet)
- Leaf template (green sheet)
- Crayons or markers
- Scissors
- Glue
- Yarn or ribbon for hanging
How to Make:
01. Print and color templates: Print the Earth template on white paper and color it with crayons. You can also print eyes and a mouth separately to color.
02. Prepare tree parts: Print the tree trunk on brown paper and leaves on green paper, then cut them out carefully.
03. Assemble the Earth face: Paste the eyes and mouth onto the Earth to make it look cheerful.
04: Attach the tree: Glue the trunk on top of the Earth and paste the leaves onto the trunk to create a growing tree.
05. Finish and hang: Add a yarn loop at the top and hang your craft on the wall. Use it to teach kids why trees are important for Earth.
