What You Need
- Printed heart templates (big colored heart + small white heart)
- Crayons or markers
- Scissors
- Glue
- Colored paper (flowers, butterflies, hearts, circles, etc.)
- Tissue paper (optional)
- Shape cutters (optional, for easy cutouts)
- Black marker (for writing messages)
- Ribbon or string (for hanging)
- Hole punch
How to Make
- Make the heart base
- Print a big heart on colored paper and a smaller heart on white paper.
- Cut them out and paste the small white heart inside the big colored heart.
- Decorate the big heart
- Print or cut out flowers, butterflies, hearts, or circles from colored paper.
- You can also tear tissue paper into pieces for decoration.
- Or, use shape cutters to quickly make paper cutouts instead of templates.
- Paste these around the colored big heart, leaving the white heart empty.
- Add your message
- Use a black marker to write inside the white heart:
- “Happy Mother’s Day”
- “Love You Mom”
- Or any sweet message you like.

- Finish and hang
- Punch a hole at the top of the heart.
- Attach a ribbon loop to hang it on the wall.

Print the big hearts on colored sheets.
Print the small hearts on white sheets.
