Easter is the perfect time to make colorful 3D paper eggs! This craft is easy, fun, and lets kids create bright decorations to hang in the classroom or at home.
What You Need
- Printed egg templates (4 for each egg)
- Bow template (optional)
- Crayons or markers
- Scissors
- Glue or tape
- Ribbon or yarn (for loops and bows)
How to Make

- Print and color
- Print 4 egg shapes and a bow shape if you want.
- Color them with crayons or markers.
- Cut out pieces
- Cut out the eggs and bow separately.
- Fold the eggs
- Fold each egg vertically in half, making two equal sides.
- Paste together
- Glue the folded halves back‑to‑back, joining the non‑colored sides.
- Keep pasting until all 4 halves form a 3D egg.
- Add ribbon and bow
- Make a ribbon loop and attach it to the top of the egg.
- Paste the bow at the bottom of the loop or directly on the egg.
- You can also tie a real ribbon bow and attach it.
- Display
- Hang your 3D paper egg in the classroom or at home for a festive Easter decoration!
