Spring is the perfect time to make bright and cheerful crafts! This easy project lets kids create a fun grass crown with flowers and a cute character inside. It’s simple, colorful, and makes a lovely desk or window decoration.
What You Need
- Printed grass strip template (on green paper)
- Printed character or object template (on white paper)
- Crayons or markers
- Scissors
- Glue or tape
- Extra paper strips
- Ribbon or yarn (optional for display)
How to Make
- Print and color
- Print the grass strip on green paper.
- Print the character/object on white paper and color it with crayons or markers.
- Cut out pieces
- Cut out the grass strip and the character separately.
- Make the crown
- Bend the grass strip into a circle.
- Glue or tape the ends together to form a crown.
- Decorate with flowers
- Paste paper flowers around the bottom of the grass crown.
- Add the character
- Glue your character to the center of a paper strip.
- Attach both ends of the strip to the inside of the crown so the character stands upright.
- Display
- Place your crown on a desk or shelf.
