Looking for a fun Easter project? This tissue paper bunny and egg craft is bright, fluffy, and perfect to hang in your classroom or at home. Kids will love tearing, coloring, and pasting pieces to make their own cheerful Easter decorations.
What You Need
- White or colored paper sheets
- Printed bunny and egg templates
- Black crayons or markers
- Colored tissue papers (pink, yellow, orange, purple, blue, green)
- Scissors
- Glue or sticky clear paper (contact paper)
- Ribbon, yarn, or string
How to Make
- Print the templates on white or colored sheets.
- Cut along the outline and separate the shapes from the sheet.
- Cut along the second outline of the image to make a thick border Easter template.
- If you printed on white, color the border with black crayons or markers. Or, trace the template on black paper and cut it out.
- Tear colored tissue papers into small pieces.
- Paste the tissue pieces on the back of your template to fill the middle space. Overlap them so no gaps show.
- Option: Use sticky clear paper. Place the template on it, add tissue pieces, then cover with another sticky sheet. Cut the extra edges to get the shape back.
- Let it dry if you used glue.
- Attach ribbon, yarn, or string to the top.
- Hang it in your classroom or home for display.
