Easter suncatchers are a magical way to bring color and light into your home or classroom! With bunnies, chicks, and eggs, kids can make bright decorations that glow beautifully when hung in a sunny window. This craft is simple, fun, and perfect for little hands.
What You Need
- Easter image templates (egg, bunny, chick, etc.)
- White sheets
- Scissors
- Clear sticky paper (contact paper)
- Colorful tissue paper (tear or cut into small pieces)
- Yarn or ribbon (optional for hanging)
How to Make
- Print the images – Print your chosen Easter templates on white sheets.
- Cut the outline – Cut along the outside lines and carefully cut out the inside parts, leaving only a thick outline shape with an empty center.
- Stick to clear paper – Place the outline shape onto clear sticky paper.
- Fill with tissue – Tear or cut colorful tissue paper pieces and paste them inside the empty shape.
- Seal the design – Cover with another sheet of clear sticky paper to seal everything in place.
- Trim the edges – Cut along the outline again to remove extra sticky paper.
- Display your suncatcher – Paste it on a sunny window or punch a hole, add yarn/ribbon, and hang it up. Watch the colors shine!
