Winter is a wonderful time for cozy crafts and creative fun. This winter animal drawing activity lets kids create their own snowy scene with cute animals like a cat, an owl, or a polar bear. It’s a mix of painting, drawing, and crafting—all in one! With simple steps and everyday supplies, children can create a magical winter picture to hang and admire.
What You Need
- White A4 paper
- Blue, white, and yellow paints or crayons
- Animal printouts (cat, owl, polar bear, etc.)
- Real sticks or cotton (for snow and branches)
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Paintbrushes or crayons
How to Make
- Make the background: Take a white A4 sheet. Use blue paint or crayon to color the whole page.
- Add snow: Use white paint or crayon to make small dots all over the blue background—these are snowflakes! Let it dry.
- Draw the moon: Once dry, use yellow paint or crayon to draw a circle in the center of the page. This is your glowing winter moon. Let it dry again.
- Choose your animal: Pick and print your favorite winter animal image. You can use a cat, owl, or polar bear, like in the example.
- Add real textures: Use real sticks for branches or cotton for snow, just like the example image. Glue them onto your background.
- Paste your animal: Cut out your animal and glue it onto the background.
- Let it dry and display: Once everything is dry, your winter animal craft is ready to hang up or show off!
