Here we are with a new idea for those who are preparing for Christmas. This will be a fun and easy craft experience for kids. You can create this garland craft using simple activities like coloring, cutting, and gluing, with very few materials. In particular, you can get the following templates for free. So, let’s try to create this garland craft.
What You Need
- Printed templates
- Colored papers
- Crayons/markers
- Glue or tape
- Yarn/ribbon/string
How to Make
Step 1: Print the given templates first. There are two ways to print: You can either print the full images on white sheets and color them after printing, or print the image parts separately on colored paper to cut and paste. Both types of templates are available in the PDF below.
Step 2: If you printed the full images on white sheets, color them using markers or crayons.
Step 3: Cut out the images separately.
Step 4: Take a long piece of yarn, string, or ribbon. Attach your cut-out images to the yarn using glue or tape—matching tape works best. You can also punch a hole and tie the images to the yarn.
Step 5: Finally, display your garland in the classroom or at home.
