Hello kids! Today we are going to make a fun holiday craft. So with this craft, kids can have fun, be creative, and develop many other skills. For example, through this activity, children can develop skills such as creative skills, fine motor skills, critical thinking, recognizing volume and boundaries, and developing patience and attention. So let’s see how to make this fun craft.

What You Need:

  1. Printed templates
  2. Colored papers
  3. Q-tips
  4. Colorful paints
  5. Paper plates or paint trays
  6. Optional: crayons, markers, stickers, glitter

How to Make:

  • Step 01: Print your favorite Christmas image template from the options below. Use white or colored paper as you prefer.
  • Step 02: Pour colorful paints onto paper plates or paint trays. You can choose festive-themed colors, too.
  • Step 03: Use a few Q-tips to make paint dots. You can also use your fingertips, pencil erasers, or paintbrush tips instead of Q-tips.
  • Step 04: Dip your Q-tips into the paint and dot inside the circles on the printed template. Let it dry.
  • Step 05: Once dry, you can attach the pieces together to make a garland, hang them on the wall as décor, or turn them into a card to give someone special.

Extra Tips:

  • Use ribbon, star shapes, stickers, or glitter to make it more creative.
  • Before dot painting, you can color your printed image—but don’t color inside the circles.
  • Use multicolored paint dots for a brighter look.
  • No paint? No problem! You can use dot stickers, marker dots, punch-out dots, paper circles, star stickers, or any shapes you like instead.
