You only need two things to do this activity: seeds and printed templates. We’ve provided all the templates you need to print below. It has 12 sheets with different patterns, and you can use them to help your children develop their motor skills. You can guide them to place the seeds along the pattern to do this activity. This is an easy and fun activity for speakers to quickly develop their skills.

🌱 How to Do This Activity

Step 1: Download and print the templates: You can use colored sheets or white sheets for printing.

Step 2: Prepare a bowl of seeds:

  • Method 1: No need to color the seeds. Use them as they are (pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, or any type you have).
  • Method 2: Dye pumpkin seeds in different colors and let them dry. Then use them for the activity.

Step 3: Give the children the seeds and pattern templates: Provide each child with the printed template and a set of seeds.

Step 4: Place the seeds along the pattern: Guide the children to place the seeds one by one along the pre‑drawn lines of the template.
